Lulú Txispún is the director and co-producer of our Barcelona Burlesque Meeting.

 

As a child, living with her grandparents, she could see El Molino through their balcony and ued to say: I wanna dance here.

 

Some years later she started ballroom dancing for both pleasure and competition. Parallel, she graduated as aerobic coordinator and tried different styles such as salsa, bachata, funky, lindy hop...until 2009, when she discoverd burlesque and it changed her life.

 

Nowadays, she's been Burlesque teacher for 7 years, she dances in several groups and has taken part (and even won) in national and international festivals as a solo dancer or together with her son.

Her unquestionable gift as a performer and comic on stage is worth admiring. Her shows make you forget anything sad, they lead you to a world of joy, pleasure and love with every character she creates; from an acrobat frog to a glamourous husband killer.

Appart from teacher and performer, Lulú Txispún has also created her own headdresses brand for weddings, events, daily wear and other special occasions.

Glitter, stones and feathers run through her veins. ¡Oh! And she finally danced in El Molino.
